Packaging:    HDL is membrane filtered and aseptically packaged in a solution containing

               phosphate-buffered saline at pH 7.4 and 0.01 µM EDTA.

Preparation:   Thanbio Human High Density Lipoprotein, HDL, (Cat. No. TBP8) is isolated from blood bank produced human plasma. It is purified via ultracentrifugation (d=1.063 ～1.21 g/mL) to homogeneity determined by agarose gel electrophoresis. Each lot is analyzed on agarose gel electrophoresis for migration versus LDL.

Specifications: 0.22 micron filtered; Aseptically Filled; Cell Culture Tested.

Storage &                

Stability:      This product is stable for 6 weeks after receipt when handled aseptically and stored at 2-8°C. NEVER FREEZE.

*Special Note:    After prolonged storage, some precipitate may be observed. This is normal for this product. Clarify out the aggregates by spinning in a microfuge for 2 minutes.

Activity:                  peritoneal macrophages in conjunction with our DiI-HDL and Ox-HDL.

                                *Preparations of HDL are fairly unstable; plan your experiments in advance and use fresh material.
